I’m a little behind on my blogging! It’s been a busy past couple of weeks, but here is a little peek at Gina & Dave’s beautiful Hart House wedding on Deer Lake. How ridiculously beautiful is this place? Looove it.

There are nothing but good things to say about Debbie & Darcy’s wedding. There was sunshine, love & laughter, a beautiful bride & handsome groom, and most of all, family. Debbie’s wedding was particularly special for me because she is my cousin! It was definitely fun, and an honor to be a part of her and Darcy’s day.
I love how excited Debbie looks here, waiting to walk down the aisle.
Her Bridesmaids looked stunning.
Debbie, of course, looked absolutely radiant.
Don’t they make such a beautiful couple? You can definitely see the love.
Debbie & Darcy chose a green & blue Canucks colour theme for their reception! How fun is that? Each table was named after a Canucks player.
The reception was full of laughs – thanks to Debbie’s brother, Darren, who was a fabulous MC!
A beautiful first dance as husband and wife. Doesn’t the Langley Golf Centre make for a gorgeous venue? Love the chandeliers!
Lastly, a few shots of Debbie & Darcy’s friends and family, you can definitely tell they are loved very much!!
Thank you for letting me be such an important part of your day!

I have decided that grapefruit juice is essential to my photo editing from now on. Not the pure unsweetened kind…no one reeeally actually likes that stuff. No, the kind with delicious pear, apple and orange juice infused into it. I am on to my third glass, and what has resulted? …
Gina & Dave’s Engagement photos!
Gina and Dave are awesome. They are hilarious. There was lots of funny face making, which resulted in a lot of laughter!
We had our session at Iona beach on a windy evening last week, it was so beautiful. Iona beach is such an interesting place. It’s not your typical beach, like the others in Vancouver. It’s sort of…barren. In a beautiful way.
Our evening started out like this:
Then I made them climb all over the drift wood…
which then lead to these beautiful photos…
They also brought their super adventurous dog, Toby, who was so adventurous that he jumped right into the 6 inch deep slimy, muddy, goop on the beach where the tide had gone out, about 10 minutes into our session. Needless to say, his muddiness limited the amount of pictures with Gina & Dave =p
It was awesome shooting with Gina & Dave, and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding at the Hart House this Saturday. Yes…this Saturday. 2 days of photos in just over 1 week!
