Autobiographies are tough because I never know what to say about myself or how I can even sum myself up in a few words!

There are the obvious things such as, I'm a photographer, and also a lady. And I can list things I love as so: Weddings, babies, commitment, sunshine, sweaters, shoes, music, movies, reading, cuddles, comics etc etc..

But in a photography bio, I suppose I'm supposed to talk about why I love photography. But it's hard for me to describe it. How can I explain how much I love shooting weddings and capturing young love, or how photographing children makes me feel like a kid again, or even how I'd do a photo shoot every single day if i could without it sounding hokey?

Basically, I'd love to be a part of your special day, whether it be a beautiful wedding, your family spending time together, or just you and I making some awesome images!

Rachel & Jeremy – Vancouver Wedding Photography

I once again had the wonderful opportunity to second shoot for the super talented Rebecca Sehn just before the end of the year. In fact, Rachel and Jeremy’s wedding was on December 31st, New Years Eve!

Needless to say it was an exciting day for Rachel, Jeremy and their family and friends. Not only did they get to celebrate the couple’s marriage, they also got to celebrate the new year at the lovely Delta Airport Hotel ballroom!

It was so ridiculously cold that day, but can you really complain when the sun shines for portrait time? It came out after hailing during the entire ceremony!

I started the day with the groomsmen at the church before the ceremony for a few portraits:

Summer & Eric – Vancouver Wedding Photography

Charmaine & Erin – Vancouver Engagement Photography

I met up with Charmaine & Erin at the new Vancouver Convention Centre for their engagement session with my umbrella under my arm expecting it to rain. But not only didn’t it rain, the sun came out unexpectedly for some lovely late afternoon light! My favourite.

The trees around the convention centre were the most beautiful colours. I don’t even know how to describe the colour!

So all in all, beautiful scenery, a gorgeous couple…pretty great!
