There are 2 things I LOVE that I would like to tell you about today!
Item the first:
I spend a lot of time in Port Coquitlam, since Dylan lives out there, and one of my favourite things about PoCo is when you get to the very edge of town and it turns into farms and fields instead of city. A lot of these farms are blueberry fields, at least the ones nearby Dylan’s place. I LOVE the blueberry fields, for what reason I can’t really explain. It’s sort of a weird thing to be in love with, but seriously, ever since I saw them first, i’ve fallen in love! I suppose it’s how they are in nice neat rows that seem to go forever, and how the branches are all scraggly, and how in the winter most of the branches turn bright red in the right light. It’s kind of magical.
Item the second:
KINGA. I love this girl. Not only is she beeautiful, she’s a blast to shoot with. She is pretty much my go-to-girl for models. We met maybe 2 years ago, we did a little photo shoot for an assignment I had for school, all film, it was raining, she looked fabulous with her button print umbrella, and it was FUN! Ever since then we shoot together every couple months it seems. She understands me and my photography, which is fantastic. She knows what I like and she delivers! I can say, “Hey Kinga, can you laugh for me?” and she gives me the most authentic, cute laugh that results in that amazing smile she has.
But I should stop there before I start sounding like a creep listing the reasons why I love this girl so much =p
How do these two things relate? I told Kinga about these blueberry fields, and how I would love to shoot in them, but that they were technically private property. I asked her what she thought, and reason #1001 why I love this girl, she said, “I’m always down for an adventure, especially if it includes being ninja-esque”. Yes. So we were super stealth (actually not really, we just walked in) and super respectful of the beautiful blueberry bushes. And all that resulted in these fabulous photos! :

I bet you’re in love with them now, too =p
We also took some photos at a pretty little road a few minutes away, but those are for another day!
