Rachel & Jeremy – Vancouver Wedding Photography

I once again had the wonderful opportunity to second shoot for the super talented Rebecca Sehn just before the end of the year. In fact, Rachel and Jeremy’s wedding was on December 31st, New Years Eve!

Needless to say it was an exciting day for Rachel, Jeremy and their family and friends. Not only did they get to celebrate the couple’s marriage, they also got to celebrate the new year at the lovely Delta Airport Hotel ballroom!

It was so ridiculously cold that day, but can you really complain when the sun shines for portrait time? It came out after hailing during the entire ceremony!

I started the day with the groomsmen at the church before the ceremony for a few portraits:

Ian & Jen – Vancouver Wedding Photography

Ian and Jen were married in July on one of the rainiest days of the month at the Serbian Cultural Centre . And it was a fantastic wedding.

Ian and Jen chose to have a First Look. It took place at Jen’s parents house where her and the girls were getting ready. The moment was so sweet, and set the tone for the rest of the day.

This wedding was so full of love and laughter and fun, and probably the most killer red shoes I’ve seen on a bride yet!

I had the extreme pleasure of photographing this stunning bride on the weekend. Normally, I wouldn’t post a bridal portrait as the preview for a wedding, but I couldn’t resist this time, Jen is just beautiful!

Sophie & John – Vancouver Wedding Photography

Sophie and John’s wedding was on a beautiful early September day. The ceremony took place at St. Andrew’s-Wesley United church, and the photos and reception were at Van Dusen Gardens and The Shaughnessy Restaurant. This wedding was so full of love, you could feel it in every aspect of the day. It really was a beautiful wedding. Thanks for sharing it with me, Sophie & John!

Henna Party

Komal was married mid-August, and I had the awesome opportunity to come out and photograph her Henna Party. Komal is a amazing make-up artist, and we have worked together quite a few times in the past couple years, so I was super excited to see her again – and wow – does she ever make a beautiful bride!

Isabelle & Lars – Vancouver Wedding Photography

Isabelle and Lars were married at the new LDS Temple in Langley a couple weeks ago. This building is seriously incredible! We took photos around the property, in sweltering heat, all the while Isabelle and Lars looked flawless (while I turned into a lobster…).

A beautiful couple, in a beautiful location, on a beautiful day – What more could I ask for?!

Gina & Dave – Vancouver Wedding Photography

Gina & Dave’s wedding took place at the beautiful Hart House restaurant in Burnaby. This place is such a gorgeous setting for a wedding!

The day started with the girls getting ready in the second floor of the Hart House.

Gina and Dave decided to have a First Look before their ceremony. It was a beautiful moment. I love the look of pure joy and love in their faces as they see each other for the first time on their wedding day. So romantic!

We also squeezed in some wedding party photos before the ceremony.

The ceremony was filled with laughs, and love.

We took some portraits down by the lake after the ceremony. Love the scenery <3
