I’ve had this vision in my mind for months; the boat, the lake, the late afternoon sun…
I love when I get the chance to bring my visions to life. This particular shoot was realized by some pretty amazing and talented people, and i’m thrilled with the results.
To me, these perfectly capture that sense of nostalgia that goes hand in hand with sunny autumn days.

A week ago yesterday, Amie & Mat were married at Minoru Chapel in Richmond. This was my first wedding at Minoru, and can I just say, I never knew there were BUNNIES there! Seriously there were bunnies everywhere. It was so great.

But aside from the bunnies, they lucked out with some beautiful weather (if a bit windy!) and we had a great time walking around antique alley in New Westminster for our portrait time.

Here’s a little look at Amie & Mat’s Burnaby Lake Rowing Pavilion Wedding. We snuck out of the reception to take some lovely portraits by the lake at dusk.

I had been dying to do a fashion inspired Bridal shoot all summer, but was having a seriously difficult time finding the spare time to plan it all. Most of the summer had already passed and I still hadn’t gotten anywhere. Finally, I decided to just wing it, and put it all together in about 3 or 4 days with the help of Komal, who did the makeup, and Kinga, who modelled.

I have to say, considering it was a very last minute shoot, I think we pulled it off pretty well!

Seriously, I think my heart skipped a beat while editing a few of these images. Damn you look good, Kinga!
